
We have spent several years experimenting with finest-quality ingredients sourced globally, and select internationally certified ones. We aspire to create traditional yet healthy egg rolls, and break the stereotype that traditional snacks unavoidably have fat and sugar contents. Our egg rolls are crispy and rich in natural egg flavour, and without lingering greasiness nor over-sweetness in the aftertaste.
Eggs: We use the highest quality Spanish organic, hormone-free eggs that meet the European Eco-label (EEA) standards. The hens are 100% vegetable feed on unpolluted farms in Spain, with a 70% cereals, of which at least 50% is corn. The feed contains no animal ingredients such as fish meal or bone meal; instead, it primarily consists of plant proteins like corn and soy, supplemented with other nutritional additives such as probiotics and plant extracts. The hens are also raised without any artificial growth inducers in an environment free from antibiotics, sedatives, hormones, or vaccines. The eggs meet over 95% of the highest organic standards and are approved by our research team as the best choice for its rich egg flavour. To ensure purity and safety, we refuse to use eggs from Hubei (or synthetic egg mixtures made of such eggs) that may contain hormones or preservatives. Nor do we use eggs from the USA or Japan, as it is difficult to trace the purity of the feed used for the hens.
Sugar: Sugar is an indispensable ingredient for forming egg rolls. For perfect crispiness, we use a mixture of three different kinds of refined natural sugars. Our unique mixture ratio results in only 14 grams of sugar per 100 grams of egg rolls. We refuse to adopt the common practice of using large amounts of white sugar or leavening agents.
Butter: We use aged butter from Brittany pasture in France. The pasture uses milk from grass-fed cows and ferment the milk for 15 hours using its traditional technique, producing one of the few butters in the world that contains Vitamin A. We refuse to use artificial, margarine and cheap butters commonly chosen by other brands (due to cost considerations) because such butters contain high levels of trans fats that can reduce HDL (good cholesterol) levels and increase LDL (bad cholesterol) levels, and increase the risk of coronary artery disease. We understand certain artificial butter samples on the market also contain ingredients that may affect kidney function and the male reproductive system.
Flour: We use high-quality Japanese wheat flour produced by enterprises with a century of history and mature technology. After testing over a substantial number of types of flour on the market, our research team believes this is one of the few high-quality wheat flours that can provide an equally delicate texture.
No additional artificial ingredients/additives: We reject the common method of egg roll production that involves adding large amounts of white sugar, flavour enhancers, or synthetic additives. We produce egg rolls without artificial ingredients and are committed to providing a purely delicious and healthy food experience.
